What is the COL?
The COL is a group of
alumnae and collegiate members that
completes the nomination and slating process
for the selection of the International
Executive Board.
We are looking for
dynamic, thoughtful, and articulate
collegiate leaders to impact the future of
our Fraternity. The members we seek will be
able to balance their time, have a broad,
strong Alpha Phi knowledge, and understand
the importance of commitment and
confidentiality.
TERM:
May 2009 to June 2010
ELIGIBILITY:
Any collegiate member in good standing, who
will be an active chapter member and
full-time student through the end of spring
semester 2010.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Average of 1 conference call per
month with a few more during the months of
October 2009 to February 2010
♦
Read and respond to e-mail and other
COL correspondence in a timely manner.
(heaviest volume from October 2009 –
February 2010)
♦
Read applications and references and
complete evaluations. (September –to
November 2009)
♦
Participate in candidate interviews;
provide notes and evaluations. (November
2009 – February 2010)
♦
Attend a 3 day in person meeting, in
Evanston, IL in early 2010

find the “Collegiate Member Application for
Committee on Leadership.”

Applications are due March 20, 2009
SELECTION PROCESS:
Once all applications
have been received and reviewed, final
candidates will be determined. A phone
interview will be scheduled with each
finalist. The top two finalists will begin
serving on the COL in May 2009.
