Job Title:                     Judiciary Board Specialist

Reports To:                  Program Manager, Collegiate Chapter Development


Position Summary:


The role of the Judiciary Board Specialist is to assist in identifying errors in current collegiate chapter Judiciary Board practices and assist in creating resources to address the errors.


Key Job Elements:

  • Review and approve Judiciary Board reports in Officer Portal at least twice a month
  • When reviewing the reports note procedural errors that need to be addressed with the chapter
  • Work with CCAs to educate and communicate with chapters on procedural errors
  • Share productive Judiciary Board outcomes with the EO and other volunteers
  • Help identify trends on topics that need training across the organization
  • Assist in evaluating the Judiciary Board report on an annual basis
  • Assist in revising / contributing to Judiciary Board resources
  • Attend and participate in all training and meetings
  • Maintain strong collaborative relationship with CCAs

Position Specifications:


Knowledge and Experience

  • Must be current in Judiciary Board training
  • Alpha Phi leadership / advisory experience
  • Experience working with Officer Portal
  • Understanding of Alpha Phi International Policies & Procedures, CCOM and Judiciary Board Guidebook

  • Conflict resolution and mediation skills


  • Estimated time commitment of 5 to 10 hours per month; total time may range dependent on collegiate chapter Judiciary Board activity that month
  • Must be a member in good standing as defined by the Fraternity's Constitution and Bylaws
