Introducing the Alpha Phi Virtual Learning Series

Alpha Phi International Fraternity is pleased to announce the Alpha Phi Virtual Learning Series, a series of web based learning modules supporting its alumnae volunteer structure.  Supporting topics ranging from "Creating a Coaching Culture" to "Guiding Chapters to Effective Judiciary Outcomes", the series will provide assistance and guidance to those volunteers working with Alpha Phi's collegiate chapters.

Based on GoToWebinar developed by Citrix Online, Alpha Phi's Virtual Learning Series platform supports interactive web based briefings and training sessions for up to 500 attendees.  The series curriculum will compliment Alpha Phi's in-person leadership conferences and training academies and provide much needed support to new volunteers.  The platform also provides

a cost effective alternative delivery mechanism for information and curriculum that is time-sensitive or requires a geographically distributed audience.

"The Alpha Phi Virtual Learning Series is a powerful solution to the challenge of providing training and support to a geographically diverse volunteer base," said Linda Kahangi, Executive Director for Alpha Phi International Fraternity. "Participants will have more timely access to relevant information and advice that will increase their confidence in advising young women on college campuses today."

Alpha Phi International Fraternity was founded at Syracuse University in 1872 as one of the first Greek societies for women. Alpha Phi is a sisterhood of outstanding women supporting one another in lifelong achievement. The organization is comprised of more than 150 collegiate chapters and more than 140 alumnae chapters throughout the United States and Canada. The Alpha Phi Foundation is the Fraternity's philanthropic and educational partner. Through contributions from chapters, individual members and friends, the Foundation supports women's heart health and other charitable and educational projects. Together, Alpha Phi International Fraternity and Alpha Phi Foundation develop character for a lifetime.
