Alumnae Chapter Academy 2013

Alpha Phi International invites you to join us at the Executive Office for Alumnae Chapter Academy 2013 - a phenomenal weekend of hands-on training specifically for women in leadership roles in their local alumnae chapters!   This summer, Alumnae Chapter Academy will be held at the Alpha Phi Executive Office in Evanston, Ill. from June 7-9.

Fraternity Updates:

Individual Alumnae Chapter Logos

Alumnae chapters can now download individual alumnae chapter logos. All logos are the traditional logo mark, with your chapter's name underneath. Check the resource out here, and download your alumnae chapter's logo by clicking on the link with your alumnae chapter name and saving it to your desktop. If your chapter is not listed, or to correct the spelling of your chapter name, please email Elizabeth Conner at

Alpha Phi International Now Filing all Alumnae Chapter Tax Returns

Effective with the end of the 2012-2013 fiscal year, the Alpha Phi Executive Office will now complete all required IRS 990 forms for alumnae chapters. Alumnae chapter officers will no longer be required to file taxes on behalf of the local alumnae chapter. By taking this process in house, we hope to ensure that all returns are filed timely and prevent IRS revocation of any alumnae chapter's not for profit status as a result of non-filing. Returns will be filed with the name and address of the current Alumnae Chapter President (ACP) on file. Upon completion of the filing, ACPs will be notified that the return was successfully submitted. Questions on this topic can be directed to Cathy Koessl at

Extension News

Alpha Phi is installing two chapters this spring!  The Iota Sigma chapter at Carnegie Mellon University was installed April 6, and the Iota Tau chapter at Harvard will be installed April 26.  It is Alpha Phi's tradition for each collegiate and alumnae chapter to send a gift to welcome a new chapter.  Your gift added to those chapters from across North America is a symbol of united support for our new sisters.  Welcome dollars are used to purchase ritual equipment for the chapter's Installation, and many initiations to come.  The gift presentation, a highlight of the Installation reception, gives the chapter a warm international greeting!  Gifts can be sent to:
