For the 12th year in a row, the Alpha Phi Quarterly isa winner in the APEX Awards for Publication Excellence competition.

2014
For the 11th year in a row, the Alpha Phi Quarterly is a winner in the APEX Awards for Publication Excellence competition, receiving an Award of Excellence for the Summer 2013 Quarterly that featured "What's Hot in Home Décor?" 
2013
The Quarterly received two Fraternity Communications Association (FCA) awards this year, one in the design category and one for writing. Second place was awarded in Single Page Design for the Winter 2013 article entitled "Alpha Phi Foundation Celebrates 20th Anniversary of Heart to Heart Grant." Third place was awarded in News Feature Article (Long) for the Winter 2013 article entitled "Would You Recognize If You Were Having a Heart Attack?" written by former Editor Christine Spiegel.   

For a 10th year in a row, the Alpha Phi Quarterly is a winner in the APEX Awards for Publication Excellence competition, receiving an Award of Excellence for the Spring 2012 Quarterly that featured "The Accidental Activist: Alumna Urges Sisters to Take a Stand." 

2012
The Alpha Phi Quarterly is a winner in the 2012 Fraternity Communications Association (FCA) and the APEX Awards for Publication Excellence awards competitions. 

The Quarterly received a second place FCA award for Story Packaging/Coverage of an Event, Member or Chapter(s) for the Summer 2011 article entitled "CSU/Northridge Chapter House Receives On-Screen Facelift." 

For a ninth year in a row, the Alpha Phi Quarterly is a winner in the APEX Awards for Publication Excellence competition, receiving an Award of Excellence for the Fall 2011 Quarterly that featured "Is the Future of the Printed Magazine in Jeopardy?"

2011
For an eighth year in a row, the Alpha Phi Quarterly is a winner in the APEX Awards for Publication Excellence competition, receiving an Award of Excellence. APEX awards recognize excellence in publications work by professional communicators, based on graphic design, editorial content and ability to achieve overall communications excellence. 

2010
The Alpha Phi Quarterly is a winner in the 2010 Fraternity Communications Association (FCA) / North American Interfraternal Foundation (NIF) and the APEX Awards for Publication Excellence awards competitions. 

The Quarterly received a third place FCA / NIF award for Human Interest Article Writing (two pages or less) for the Winter 2010 article entitled "Alumna's Efforts Have Saved Lives" by Krisanne Ryther (Delta Epsilon-Iowa). The magazine also was recognized with third place honors for FCA / NIF's Critic's Choice Award for Cover Design for the Spring 2009 cover. 

For a seventh year in a row, the Alpha Phi Quarterly is a winner in the APEX Awards for Publication Excellence competition, receiving an Award of Excellence for the Winter 2010 Quarterly that featured "Put Your Heart First - At Any Age." APEX awards recognize excellence in publications work by professional communicators, based on graphic design, editorial content and ability to achieve overall communications excellence.

2009
The Alpha Phi Quarterly is a winner in the 2009 Fraternity Communications Association (FCA) / North American Interfraternal Foundation (NIF) and the APEX Awards for Publication Excellence awards competitions.

The magazine was recognized with second place honors in FCA / NIF's prestigious Fred F. Yoder Award for Overall Excellence. The award recognizes general excellence of a total publication as demonstrated in all issues of a magazine, newsletter or tabloid published within a year. 

The Quarterly also received a second place FCA / NIF award for Feature Article Design for the Fall 2008 feature entitled "Women and Voting." The award honors creativity of feature article layouts of more than two pages in a magazine, newsletter or tabloid.

2006
The Quarterly is a winner in the 2006 MarCom Creative Awards, receiving a platinum level award, the competition's highest recognition! The Spring 2006 Quarterly was submitted for the competition

MarCom Creative Awards is an international competition recognizing outstanding work among marketing and communication professionals. Each year there are more than 5,000 entries from throughout the United States and from several other countries. Typically about 15 percent win Platinum Awards, another 15 percent win Gold Awards. Entries receiving scores between 90-100 points are Platinum Winners. Entries with 80-89 points are Gold Winners. Entries scoring from 70-79 receive an Honorable Mention certificate.
