EVANSTON, ILL. – The Alpha Phi Quarterly and Transitions: The Magazine for Alpha Phi's Newest Alumnae are winners in the Spring 2007 Millennium Awards competition. The Quarterly received a silver level award, and Transitions received a bronze award.

The Millennium Awards honor outstanding creativity, skill, craft and talent in television/film/video/commercials, print, advertising, Web design, audio and radio. A list of all winners and more information are available at http://www.millenniumaward.com.

For a fourth year in a row, the Alpha Phi Quarterly also is a winner in the 2007 APEX Awards for Publication Excellence competition. APEX awards recognize excellence in publications work by professional communicators, based on graphic design, editorial content and ability to achieve overall communications excellence. Out of close to 5,000 entries, 1,521 received an Award of Excellence. A list of all winners and more information are available at http://www.apexawards.com.

The Alpha Phi Quarterly has been published continuously since its establishment in 1888. The magazine is devoted to highlighting its members and matters of fraternal and college interest. Transitions: The Magazine for Alpha Phi's Newest Alumnae was launched in 2005 to provide valuable post-college resources to new graduates and promote lifetime involvement in Alpha Phi. Topics found in Transitions include financial management, workplace education, preparing for graduate school and testimonials from recent graduates. Transitions is sent to every graduating Alpha Phi.
