Sisters meet at Olive Garden to install officers for the upcoming year and to honor outgoing President Dimitra Gountis (Delta Upsilon-Baldwin Wallace).

Each December, the chapter hosts a holiday party to celebrate its accomplishments throughout the year. It has become a favorite event for native Chicagoans and sisters new to the area.

The top event of the year for alumnae in the area is Founders' Day. More than 120 alumnae and collegians celebrated together at Larksfield Place, Wichita, in 2012. Sisters enjoyed dinner, meeting new Alpha Phis and greeting friends they hadn't seen in a while.

One of the biggest accomplishments for the chapter has been becoming more active with the local collegiate chapters at Appalachian State (Theta Nu) and Clemson (Iota Rho). The chapter's traditional luncheon in June introduces after-college life to graduates and welcomes new alumnae into the group. There are congratulatory words and a very special sterling "AOE" charm presented to transition them from the collegiate world into alumnae life.

The chapter enjoys regular gatherings throughout Central Pennsylvania, including a recent lunch at the Hotel Hershey and tour of the beautiful Hershey Gardens.

The chapter is excited to have nominated the Texas Heart Institute in Houston, the recipient of an Alpha Phi Foundation $50,000 Heart to Heart Grant.

Alumnae and families enjoy the chapter's first Family Day event. They enjoyed games and food and reminisced about college days.

Southwest Dallas, Texas

A goal of the chapter has been to establish a closer connection to other alumnae groups in the area. They collaborated with three other chapters to celebrate the Fraternity's 140th anniversary with a Founders' Day luncheon. It was a resounding success ending in plans to make it an annual event.

The chapter hosts a Spring Bling buffet brunch for George Mason (Eta Lambda) graduating seniors. The event included a pool party and barbecue.
